Why shop for organic or natural clothing?

Did you know that the clothing you wear can have a major impact on your health and the environment?

🍀 Because organic clothing is not grown with the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers, it's better for you, as the consumer.

💪🏽Your skin is the largest organ on your body, and it absorbs what it's exposed to.

👨‍🌾Organic also protects the health of farmers! Almost 1,000 people die every day from pesticide poisoning, not including the long term health consequences of being exposed to these toxic chemicals such as cancers, neurological diseases, infertility and birth defects. Chemicals sprayed onto fields often end up in local waterways which provide the drinking water for towns.

If you love our natural world and seek to save the beauty of our planet, embrace organic clothing. Conventional cotton farming is a real water waster. The World Wildlife Federation estimates it takes 5,283 gallons to produce a little over 2 pounds of cotton. That’s water best used elsewhere, especially with water shortages around the world.

Conventional cotton farmers use excessive amounts of toxic pesticides. The cotton crop uses 10% of pesticides worldwide.

Those deadly poisons—powerful carcinogens—pollute our lakes, rivers, and other waterways, affecting plants and wildlife.

With organic cotton farming, there is a focus on lessening the impact on our environment. No toxic pesticides mean no deadly runoff. Organic cotton uses much less water and is also non-GMO (genetically modified organism).

Have you ever felt itchy when wearing regular clothes? Experienced irritated skin or rashes. You may have had headaches, dizziness, or other ill effects when wearing certain fabrics?

"Toxic textiles" can pose a serious threat to people and the environment. "Toxic textiles" contain dyes, cleansers, traces of pesticides, and other chemicals. Which can affect people with chemical sensitivities and cause legitimate health issues.
